Manufactured Home
Financing factory-built homes on land — foundation, permanent-attachment and appraisal rules.
Overview
Manufactured homes are a large share of the housing stock across Calaveras, Tuolumne and Amador counties, and they are financeable on excellent terms when the home meets agency rules. The deciding factors are the HUD tags, a permanent foundation with an engineer's certification, whether the title has been retired into real property, and finding a lender that genuinely does this product rather than one that says yes and stalls.
Who this is for: Buyers and owners of manufactured or factory-built homes on owned land.
